welcome to football world.. Manchester City footballer Benjamin Mendy, was found not guilty of a rape charge, during the trial at Chester Crown Court by order of the judge.. Mendy, 28, was acquitted of the rape of a 19-year-old woman at his home in Prestbury, Cheshire on July 24 last year. Co-defendant Louis Saha Matturie, 41, was also found not guilty on two counts of rape, and one of sexual assault against the same woman.. Judge Stephen Everett ordered the jury to acquit defendants from those counts, after the prosecution provided no further evidence, and formal not guilty counts were introduced.. Both men are still on trial for multiple alleged sex crimes, which they categorically deny.
