Post-match press conference with Tottenham Hotspur head coach Thomas Frank after their 2-0 win against Borussia Dortmund at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the Champions League league phase.

Cristian Romero opened the scoring in the 14th minute before Dominic Solanke made it 2-0 in the 37th. Dortmund were reduced to 10 men when Daniel Svensson was sent off in the 24th minute following a VAR review.

Frank says Spurs’ first half was one of their best, praises the atmosphere as a special European night, and calls the connection between fans and players “magic”.

He highlights Destiny Udogie’s return, Solanke’s first run out after a long lay off, and 17 year old Jun’ai Byfield’s composed debut.

Frank also stresses the importance of finishing in the top eight to reduce the schedule and give the squad more time to train, and urges Spurs to build on the win against Burnley on Saturday.
