Walk tour by Sara Resort on Koh Rong Sanloem / June 2023

My holiday on Koh Rong Sanloem just finished.

Almost whole week I've been to this beautiful island which still reminds about pandemic disaster. At some parts of the Saracen Bay you can find devastated resorts (or what is left from them); on some buildings, which are not destroyed, you can see signs in khmer lang on the walls -- as I understand, it's kind of mark that business is alive, and "please, do not raze this buildings to the ground". Intense construction work from Chinese side is going on...

However, there are few places where you still can get a proper holiday experience.
One of them is Sara Beach Resort which includes:
- dozen of petite houses 3 minutes walk from the Saracen Bay;
- restaurant with delicious seafood bbq and western cuisine as well;
- bar with draft beer and cocktails;
- lounge zone along the big pool;

In June 2023, price for a house with garden view, king size bed, wardrobe, hot water, AC, safe and patio starts from $44 per night. This also includes breakfast, free to use kayaki, and transfer to pier. By the way, you can ask for umbrella (which can be used as a protection not only from rain, but sun as well) on reception if you need one. If you need something special, there are a few shops and tourist information point nearby. However, almost everything can be provided by Sara Resort.

Also, they can make a really good natural coffee, latte, cappuccino and espresso!
