Sire T7 vs Fender Telecaster - Tone Comparison - Can the Sire Keep Up?

For my Presets visit: https://johnnathancordy.gumroad.com/ SRV3Fender Commented on the Sire T7 video yesterday, and he thought the pickups sounded bright - initially my first thought was that Telecasters can be bright but I wanted to compare my Fender Vintage Hot Rod 60s Telecaster which has a Twisted Tele in the neck position, and a Broadcaster in the bridge position.

Of course, the Fender was a fairly expensive guitar back when these were around, I think the RRP was around £2000. If you're interested in some of the finer details, the Fender has a 7.25-12" compound radius, a chunkier neck than the Sire, and also a Texas Special in the middle position (and some s1 switching that adds the middle pickup to other positions). Similar to the Sire it has a compensated brass saddle arrangement, and locking tuners. Other than that they're both basically teles, just one has a prettier headstock...
