A quick after-work midweek recharge - and a new pitch for me that I'd spotted a few weeks ago, in The Simonside Hills.
It was forecast for windy again, but this pitch would hopefully shelter me quite well.
And this was only my 2nd outing in the MSR Elixir 2, it's a lovely tent, but stay tuned til the end to see an epic fail. No way should this have happened to any tent, let alone an MSR.....so back it went to Go Outdoors...
Also a nice cooking segment in this one using some breast milk pouches.....
