Find your stillness with "Roligt" — Vol. 2 of the Sleep - Relax - Study series. 🌌

In Danish, "Roligt" means "Calmly" or "Quietly." This 45 minute synth journey was crafted specifically to provide a peaceful backdrop for deep sleep, undisturbed study, and for relaxation. "Roligt" is an evolving ambient synth drone soundscape that bridges the gap between digital precision and vintage analog soul.

🎹 The Sound: Virtual Analog Meets Reel-to-reel and Cassette Tape
The foundation of this track was built using virtual vintage analog synths, designed to recreate the lush, drifting textures of the legendary hardware of the 70s and 80s. To achieve the ultimate retro warm sound, each track was recorded to my Bang & Olufsen Beocord 1600 reel-to-reel tape machine. The final mix was then recorded onto a Maxell UDIII 90 Type II chrome cassette tape.

This process adds a layer of authentic tape saturation, wow and flutter, and a soft, natural compression that is incredibly soothing to the ear.

🎬 Visuals: Hypnotic Maxell Cassette Spools
The visuals for this session feature a minimalist close-up of the Maxell cassette tape. Watching the spools turn in a slow, rhythmic motion provides a hypnotic visual anchor, making this the perfect ASMR-style background for yoga, studying, or for a peaceful night's sleep.

Vibe: Lush, ethereal, moody, and introspective.
