On February 9th Sam and his friend Paul when out on snowmobiles to look for bobcat tracks in the fresh Maine snow. They took three hounds with them...Sally, and litter mates Carle and Frankie.

It wasn't until late in the afternoon that they spotted the cat track that would lead them and the hounds into an interesting and somewhat dangerous predicament. The trail would end up stopping in the center of a frozen creek. With the bobcat biased there was only one thing left to do...the two laced up their snow shoes and walked to the creeks edge where they then used there snow shoes as walking sticks to test the ice as they crossed to get to their hounds.

This is an exciting hunt that will leave you on the edge of your seat.
