The twelve stairs to do down the Garba Graha represents the twelve rashis( Mesha, Vrishabh, Mithun, Karka, Singh, Kanya, Tula, Vrishchik, Dhanu, Makkar, Kumbh, Meen)
The twelve stairs to come up from the Garba Graha represents 12 months – Chaitra, Vaishakh, Jyeshtha, Aashad, Shravan, Bhadrapad, Ashvin, Kartik, Margashirsh, Paush, Magh, Falgun).
This temple is Surya Pradhan temple because Surya is the Lord of all the Planets.
Within Garbagraha, everyday in the morning the rays of the Sun passes through Surya Yantra and falls on Surya Rath.
The visit to the temple starts with the darshan of deity Brahma, Vishnu, Mahesh and it ends with the darshan of deity Brahma, Vishnu, Mahesh.
