عہدِ طفلی | Ehd-e-Tifli | علامہ اقبال Allama Iqbal | An explanation by Salman Asif Siddiqui

Salman Asif Siddiqui recites and explains one of Dr. Muhammad Allama Iqbal's poems, 'Ehd-e-Tifli' ('The Age of Infancy'). This poem is among the early work of Iqbal and is the third poem in his first poetic collection in Urdu, 'Bang-e-Dira' ('The Call of Marching Bells').
Consisting of only six couplets, this poem very beautifully sums up the natural characteristics of childhood and how children see the world around them. It is noteworthy that this poem was written at a time when western theories and perspectives about child psychology had not been developed. Do watch and share with family & friends.
