RSP leader and former Vadodara city corporator Rajesh Ayre and his wife Purnima Ayre as well as Hemlataben Gor and supporters formally joined the BJP on Friday. At the office, Vadodara city BJP president Vijay Shah, Gen. Sec. Sunil Solanki and supporters including BJP office bearers welcomed everyone. 

BJP President Vijay Shah said that Rajeshbhai worked with them from 2010 - 2015. Now with his return to the party, it will benefit them as his work speaks in the Western area. It will also benefit Ward No. 8, 9, and 11 of the area. He thanked him for joining the BJP.

Just a few days back Rajesh Ayre announced to field RSP candidates in the next elections, now the political equations of joining BJP have changed. Rajeshbhai Ayre said, "My blood belonged to the BJP and will remain with them. I am very happy to return to my home."
