Arguably, one of the most important and most useful cooking utensils in the world of cooking is a solid set of kitchen tongs.

Many people grab whatever set of tongs they can find, but that lends itself to some problems. First off, tongs are made for specific purposes. A set made for salads is not going to be as effective flipping a steak as a heavy duty one is.
