*NEW* Changing The Guard: London 03/09/23.

Changing The Guard on Sunday 3rd September 2023. A warm sunny day.
Not as confusing as Friday's Guard Change although the New Guard decided to leave for Buckingham Palace quite a bit earlier than usual. Previously when filming in this area the Old Guard usually get into Buckingham Palace before the New Guard leave Wellington Barracks. Not today......the Old Guard had not even got to the Victoria Memorial and the New Guard were on their way to Buckingham Palace, that's why there was no footage of the Corps of Drums playing i'm afraid.

1st Battalion Welsh guards (Old Guard) going on duty at Buckingham Palace.
1st Battalion Welsh guards (New Guard) practising for the days Guard Change.
1st Battalion Welsh Guards Corps of Drums heading up to St. James's Palace.
New Guard and Band of The Scots Guards marching onto parade ground at Wellington Barracks for inspection and to entertain the crowds, who were especially noisy today btw.
Band of the Scots Guards, in six's, marching to Buckingham Palace with the New Guard and then returning with the Old Guard.
Welsh Guards Corps of Drums returning back to Wellington Barracks.
