Resting in a quiet and peaceful meditation, I found old feelings coming up to be released about missing my authentic Self. It really felt like the grief we feel when something we dearly love and cherish seems to be missing. My nervous system is now in a balanced state where it feels safe enough to look at the feelings and allow them to move through and be transmuted into love and light.

We are all traumatized people. All of us would have benefited from a required personal development course in High School. They don't teach us about self-discovery and emotional healing. We are left to sort this out on our own. We all need a support system for healing from trauma. People pleasing becomes our first unconscious choice. As recovering people-pleasers we want to choose self-care, self-compassion, and self-love EVERY TIME.
