Growing apple trees in tree tubes (part one)

Описание к видео Growing apple trees in tree tubes (part one)

This video is on growing apple/crabapples trees for deer in tree tubes and pruning young apple trees. I also have a video of growing trees and using fences. If you have been growing trees for deer for a while, I'm sure you have ways that work for you. When using tubes, I like to use 60'' vented tubes. I like the flat sheet design because I can access the tree, remove debris, prune lateral limbs and reuse the tube over and over instead of the tube you see me cut off this tree. Those tubes are not reusable. I will continue to fertilize this tree in April with triple18 every year at a rate of 1/2lb per inch in diameter, measuring 2' off the ground. I will also coat the tree and central leader with a gallon of outdoor latex paint mixed with 2qt water, 1/2 bottle Seven dust, and 1oz of permethrin. This mixture is enough to coat 80 trees and prevent borers from harming the tree.
