The dark side of psychedelics - What you NEED to know, and how to prevent bad trips

This video is an honest description of what can go wrong in a psychedelic experience. It is not my intention to try and put anyone off, or to be a fearmonger, but rather to provide a rational account of the potential risks of these psychedelic substances.

I made this video because of my own personal interactions with people who later regretted taking psychedelics, and the number of posts I see online from people who hadn't fully comprehended how these substances might affect them.

As anyone who watches my channel knows - I am a HUGE advocate for psychedelics and have used ayahuasca, DMT and psilocybin mushrooms to heal very deep personal trauma... BUT, its not all sunshine and rainbows, and if you are going to wade into those dark spaces then you need to have a realistic expectation about what is lurking there.

Bad trips, emotional distress, even long term psychological destabilisation are all possible outcomes. I am of the belief that one way to avoid such situations is to be educated on them, so that you can make an informed decision about whether these substances are right for you.
