Kerry hit the big time playing the political fixer Olivia Pope in Scandal alongside roles in Django Unchained and Little Fires Everywhere.

Now Kerry stars in the Netflix movie, 'The Six Triple Eight'. It tells the real life story of World War Two’s only Women of Colour Army Core, who were dealt an impossible task in the face of discrimination.

Today Kerry talks about creating positive leadership after being told, “you aren’t here to think,” by a male co-star earlier in her career, we chat about the power of authentic communication, and the satisfaction she feels by proving people wrong - that is just the best feeling isn’t it!
