Team Emboss: Cincinnati, OH Red Bull Flugtag 2023.

On August 12th, 2023, Team Emboss, along with dozens of other amazing teams, put the safety of their pilot in the hands of those who created a flying machine from wood, PVC pipes, cellophane and anything else available at the hardware store and pushed them off the ramp and into the Ohio River as part of the Red Bull Flugtag event.

This is our experience. From ideation to acceptance. From design concept to creation. The ride was so fun. Many question marks swirled about the safety of our pilot and if we designed the craft in a way that it would glide safely away from the ramp and the heavy cart that carried them.

In the end, the beautiful dragonfly did indeed fly. She landed gently in the river. We couldn't have asked for a better performance or experience.
