We are delighted to welcome Dr. M. Sai Kumar for the 149th edition of Samarpan at Brindavan. Dr. Sai Kumar is a 1990 batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer and currently serves as the Additional Chief Secretary, Government of Tamil Nadu. He is also the Chairman and Managing Director of Tamil Nadu Newsprint and Papers Limited - a listed company. He completed his M.A. (Political Science) and M.Phil. (International Relations) degrees from the University of Hyderabad and was a Gold Medalist in the masters programme.

A Doctorate from the University of Madras in Public Policy, Dr. Sai Kumar also holds a certificate from the Harvard Kennedy School for Government in Public Policy. He is an Alumnus of Sri Sathya Sai Bal Vikas and was also an active sevadal in Sivam, Hyderabad, before joining the IAS in 1990. He is also a recipient of the Sri Sathya Sai Outstanding Alumnus award for achievements in public life. Dr. Sai Kumar has been actively organizing the Sri Sathya Sai Tamil Nadu IAS Study Circle for more than 20 years. He has been undertaking service to our nation through his role as a public servant, both with the Government of Tamil Nadu and the Government of India, for more than three decades. He has undertaken several impactful and challenging initiatives towards social causes.
Dr. Sai Kumar’s father once asked Swami if he should pursue Law. Swami replied, "IAS Chaimanu (Translation: Ask him to do IAS)".
