In this video, I am springtime wading for spawning crappie in Texas. Wading for crappie is a must try crappie fishing technique if you have never tried it before. I am crappie fishing with a hand tied jig and my 10’ ACC Crappie Stix. During the crappie spawn of 2023, crappie will go shallow to reproduce. You can find these crappie anywhere from 10 inches of water to 3 feet deep on structure along the banks. This technique is a fun way to catch crappie during the crappie spawn.
