Sailing from Baltic Sea to Portugal (Part 1)

This video shows the first part of my sailing trip from the Baltic Sea to Portugal, which I undertook in summer 2019. The video ends in A Coruña in northern Spain. Part 2 will be published in an upcoming video and covers the remaining journey to our destination Portimão in the Portuguese Algarve.

Since I have made several similar trips in this area over the last 35 years, I came up with the idea of ​​giving some recommendations in this video about what I consider to be important or critical areas. These are based on my very personal experiences. I realize that other sailors might have different experiences and have made different decisions. Therefore, my comments only represent my personal perspective. However, these explanations might be of interest to sailors planning a similar voyage in the future, or provide insight for people who want more background information about such a voyage.
