Sometimes you just need a temporary simple PCB or circuit board, like to test some switches that don't fit in a breadboard and are too fiddly to just use alligator clips on. With just some paper (regular or card stock, or even cardboard if you want), tin or aluminum (aluminium?) foil, and a glue stick, you can make as complex or complicated of a circuit board as you have the patience for. Just don't expect it to last the week.
