Elvie and daughter Janna travel on a Washington State ferry to Friday Harbor, Washington in the San Juan Islands to Lakedale Resort where they are inspecting six Amish log cabins.

The cabin log packages were pre-assembled in Libby Montana at our yard, dismantled and shipped on trucks on the ferry and then re-assembled by our father Ora Miller at the site in 1998.

All six cabins are 20’x30’, 600 sq. ft., main floor and a half loft of 300 sq. ft. for a total of 900 sq. ft. living space. Each cabin has a 6’x30’ shed roof covered porch and a small 6’x6’ entry porch.
