This program is focused on children who are hard of hearing. These children:
· have hearing levels in the mild through moderately severe range,
· use hearing aids, and
· rely on spoken language for functional communication.
This one-day seminar will provide a basic understanding of outcomes for children who are hard of hearing (HH) including the journey of HH children and their families from early intervention through school age years. It will also explore amplification and strategies for optimizing communication.
