A strange pink distortion suddenly appears over the Forest of Darkness. From it steps Elysia—radiant, gentle, surrounded by drifting crystal petals. Cale is immediately unsettled and panics at her teasing presence, Raon becomes attached to her in seconds, and Alberu treats her like a fragile little sister while secretly sensing something dangerous about her existence.

What no one knows is that the Elysia who appears is only a fragment of the real one.

In her original universe, Elysia is still fighting as the Herrscher of Humanity, sending parts of herself across countless worlds to protect them from despair and collapse. Cale’s world is just one of many she is trying to save. Each fragment exists at the same time as the original—but they are all tied to her life. If she dies in her world, every fragment will disappear.

Soon, a sorrow-eating entity emerges, twisting memories into weapons and forcing Cale to confront his regrets and self-hatred. While Cale barely holds himself together through panic and sarcasm, Elysia stands unwavering beside him—gentle, teasing, and strangely kind in a world that rarely is.

As chaos unfolds, Rosalyn slowly becomes drawn to her warmth and quiet strength, creating a subtle and unspoken bond that never fully has time to bloom.

Together, Elysia and Cale defeat the entity… but victory comes at a terrible cost.

In Elysia’s original universe, her final battle ends in sacrifice.
At that exact moment, her fragment in Cale’s world begins to fade.

Petals dissolve into light. Her voice softens.

And then—she’s gone.

The only thing left behind is a single pink crystal petal resting in the forest.

Cale can’t explain why his chest hurts. He only knows that somewhere deep in his heart, he feels like he has met her before—long ago, in another life, before he became Cale… back when he was still Kim Rok Soo.
