I’ll share with you the three main sealers for chalk painted furniture and other projects, WAX, POLYURETHANE, and POLYCRYLIC, explain the pros and cons for each type of topcoat, what each is best used for, and my suggestions on what you should use for your chalk paint project. I’ll also talk about two chalk paint sealers that are newer to the market, Annie Sloan’s Laquer, which came out in May 2019 and Rustoleum’s Chalked Paint Top Coat in Matte.
