The Women's 100 Meters Is Officially Out Of Control!

The women’s 100 meters race is expected to be one of the deepest and most exciting at the 2023 World Track and Field Championships.

The Americans, led by #shacarririchardson, look to do what no U.S. woman has done since the late Tori Bowie won a world 100m medal in 2017. Meanwhile, Jamaican athletes Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce and Shericka Jackson are expected to try hard to stop that from happening. As you all know, Jamaica’s powerhouse trio of #shellyannfraserpryce, Sha’Carri Jackson, and Elaine Thompson-Herah took all the medals in Eugene at the 2022 World Championships.

Notably, Fraser-Pryce earned her fifth 100m world title in Eugene last summer, which, you should know, is something no man or woman has won more than three 100m world titles.

With Fraser-Pryce, who is, for sure, aiming for her sixth 100m title, and Richardson more than ready to run and win in her first-ever major competition after years of “almosts”, the women’s 100m is on fire! Add #sherickajackson, Marie-Josée Ta Lou, Dina Asher-Smith, and Julien Alfred to the mix, among others, the women’s 100m race in Budapest will surely be crazy!
