"Shutdown" is a pre-release for Moonbyul's album 6equence, but its reputation has extended beyond the chronology of the album. "Shutdown" is a beautifully unabashed display of sapphic intimacy and queer representation, which fans praise widely. However, due to it being an understated release, its praises have gone unsung within the general Kpop fandom - which I believe is nothing short of a travesty. I don't expect this video to be anything prolific in terms of spreading the word, but if I could get at least a few new people to love and appreciate this spectacular song, I'll be happy. I sure was happy to talk about it.
