Dragon Quest has been CRUSHING it with remakes lately. From the Erdrick trilogy with DQs 1-3 to Dragon Quest VII Reimagined coming early next year, Dragon Quest has proven itself a series that isn't afraid to reimagine it's classic titles. Well, Final Fantasy has always been about being bold, so why aren't we seeing more reimaginings of the oldest Final Fantasies? Not every game needs the full-on FF7 Remake treatment, but we could draw a lot more out of the relatively sparse stories of especially the first three titles. Let's talk about that and more!
