We were having wayyyyyy too much fun that evening, near Anaheim California, during a NAMM show weekend a few years ago, with a great house band that featured Melanie Taylor on lead vocals, Ralph MacDonald on percussion (assisted by Ndugu Chancler), David Spinozza and Ross Bolton on funky guitars, Robbie Wyckoff vocals, Jon Greathouse and a killer horn section that had George Shelby throwin’ down on tenor sax, Eric Marienthal alto, Jon Papenbrook on trumpet etc…
