Aegis 7 Colony Manager Carthusia contacts Captain Mathius Commander of the spaceship Ishimura about the status of the Marker and dead bodies, stating that the Marker is on its way and the murder victims will be on a second shuttle, the suicides will be on a third shuttle that will be leaving soon.

Carthusia is excited about the events about to take place only to learn that he will not be joining the Ishimura as Captain Mathius points out that the colony is out of control and he does not want the same madness to affect his crew. Captain Mathius says he will issue a no-fly order between ship and planetside once the bodies are on board. Carthusia refuses to bring the bodies up himself, saying if Captain Mathius wants them he'll have to break his own order and get them himself.
