Whole Wheat Flour Tea Time Snack
INGREIDEINTS AND PROCESS:
INGREDIENTS:
1 cup Whole wheat flour
3 tsp. Rice flour
1 tsp. Salt or as per taste
1 tsp. Cumin seeds
1 cup Curd / Yogurt
1/2 cup Water
1 small onion
1 or 2 green chillies
Few curry leaves
Coriander leaves
2 or 3 tbsp. Grated fresh coconut
Pinch of baking soda
Oil for deep fry
PROCESS:
..... Chop onions, green chilli, curry leaves and coriander leaves
..... Grate or grind coconut
..... Whisk/beat curd very well
..... Add wheat flour to bowl
.... Next add salt, cumin seeds and rice flour
.... Mix with a spoon before adding curd
..... Now add whisked curd and mix well
..... Next ad water and mix well as seen in the video
.... And then add onions, green chilies', curry leaves, coconut powder and coriander leaves
..... Mix well and close with towel
..... Rest for 10 minutes
.... After 10 minutes add pinch of baking soda
.... And mix well
.... Do not wait after added baking soda
(That means hot oil should be ready when you added baking soda to
dough)
.... Heat oil on medium high heat
..... Make Mysore Bajji in hot oil as seen
..... Fry until golden brown and take out
Serve hot Bajji with any chutney or tomato ketchup.
