Wood Gasifier video 04 tested on 12-31-2012. "New filter design" Much stabler burn!

This video is covering a new filter design that I came up with. I call it a tri-filter system because it is made up of three filters that are identical to each other that are ran in series with each other in a triad or a triangle pattern. Each tube has it's own medium in them. The first filter had stainless steel wool in it and the second filter had wood chips in it and the third filter contained polyester fiber in it.

There is a final paper filter at the end of the chain to help polish the gas. This is a work in progress and you don't learn what works or what doesn't work until you roll up your sleeves and try out different ideas. I am in the process of building a true tar buster design that uses air jets along with an air tight fuel hopper. This filter design will be a big fat cherry on top of the pie for the new Gasifier design..
