Hey guys! Today I'm reviewing one of Kai's favorite toy of all time, Kong Classic Flyer!

When you got this logo on your dog toy, then you know it's gonna be a good one. I'm going to give some details about this toy, compare it to some other frisbees that I bought before, and finally test it out! To summarize the pros and cons.

So first I'm gonna show you guys the detail. This frisbee is made of strong natural rubber, the same material used in the regular Kong toys. The diameter is around 23cm, and it weighs around 200 grams, but for a frisbee, it is quite heavy actually. It's also flexible and floppy, yet it is very very durable. Both my dogs tried to rip this one off many times, but whenever I thought that this is gonna be end, I pick the toy and boom, not a scratch. If your dog is the type that likes to break toys and has a hard mouth. I would definitely recommend this frisbee. See I've bought several frisbees before this and man, none of them would last for more than a month. I couldn't find any high quality plastic frisbee in online stores here in Indonesia, so I bought the cheap ones! And as you probably have guessed, all of it broke. I got several plastic frisbees, and none of them could even last few days, I think one of the reason is that my dog Kai doesn't have a soft mouth. Then I bought some other frisbees, which are made of rubber. But again, bad quality. It was just too hard and heavy, and yet it was easily torn when both of my dogs tugged the frisbee. And now let's try the Kong frisbee. As you can see, unlike regular plastic frisbees, Kong's frisbee is much much heavier. It means that they fall easily and couldn't fly in the air for longer duration like what normal frisbee does. That means you need to throw it higher than usual, or else your dog won't be able to catch it, and of course you're gonna need a larger space. Here you can see the frisbee being thrown in quite a large field. And it worked very very well. Again if you want to throw it further, you'll have to throw it higher.
Pros: first, it's very durable, I've been using this frisbee for few months now, and all I can say is not a scratch. Second, although it's relatively heavier than normal frisbees, it is quite stable could fly just fine. Third, it is very flexible, so it's easier to be caught, and it wont hurt your dog. Some rubber frisbees are quite hard and could possibly hurt the dog's teeth or gum. Fourth, it's super easy to be cleaned, it doesn't have any holes or fancy design that could carry dirt. And fifth, it is affordable, for the quality that this toy has given, 12 dollars aren't expensive at all.
Now as for the cons: well, I would only say.. Well, it could've been lighter. Other than that, this is Kai's favorite toy up until now, and I don't think he's gonna get bored of playing fetch with this frisbee anytime soon. Using frisbees that are made of plastic are more entertaining 'cause they can fly for a long distance and a long period of time before touching the ground, but again some of them breaks easily, so this toy is for you guys that are also experiencing the same problem.

A game of fetch using this frisbee would definitely burn your dog's energy, and all you're gonna have is just another fun day at the park. Well I guess that's all, thank you so much for watching and I'll see you next time!
