Like Sisters - Voice Against Child Marriage & Pregnancy Short Film - CHILDLINE 1098

Child marriage has been an issue in India for a long time. Because of its root in traditional, cultural and religious practises, it has been a hard battle to fight. Child marriage is also associated with other problems like dowry and child widowhood. It is also associated with malnutrition, poor health of mothers and high fertility and hence over-population. To create more awareness against Child marriage and how it affects a child's life, childline is created in this short film. The death of her best friend due to miscarriages and abortions caused by child marriage leads to a strong transformation in Priya. She channelises her sorrow to help empower young girls to take the right decisions at the right age.
