Joseph J. "Lil JoJo" Coleman (04/06/1994-09/04/2012) was a rapper. He was born in Chicago, Illinois to Robin Wilson. His father has not been named publicly. Coleman grew up in the Englewood area of Chicago. He eventually became a member of the Gangster Disciple Nation, a gang founded by David Barksdale and Larry Hoover

Coleman started releasing music after hearing a song by Lil Reese dissing the Gangster Disciples. He soon recorded and released a track dissing Lil Reese and the Black Disciples, a rival of the Gangster Disciples. 3Hunnak started gaining traction and showed the intense gang rivalry in the Englewood area. Coleman would also dis Chief Keef. The feud would continue to escalate, with a sub group of the Gangster Disciples called the Bricksquad being formed with Coleman as their leader.

A back and forth between Coleman and Lil Reese would occur on Twitter. At some point, Coleman would broadcast his whereabouts as being on 69th Street,

Coleman's promising career as a rapper ended when he was killed in a drive-by shooting on September 4, 2012, near 70th and Princeton in Englewood. He was on a bike ridden by a friend when gun fire came out of a sedan. Coleman ran a short distance north on Princeton before he collapsed on the sidewalk. He was taken to Comer's Children Hospital where he was pronounced dead. Coleman is buried at Mount Hope Cemetery in Chicago, Illinois. To date, no one has been charged with the murder of Lil Jojo.
