Bad Weather Forces Change Of Plan! ⛰️Tarsar Marsar Trek, Kashmir - Pt.2

You join us once again in the middle of the scenic Tarsar Marsar Treak, a six-day expedition through dense forests, idyllic meadows, and rugged mountain terrain.

Our journey picks up from our campsite at the beautiful Tarsar Lake, where we were immediately met with a problem. Persistent rain forced a change in route, forcing us to take a safer path through the mountains towards Marsar Lake. We ascended to a height of around 4000m above sea level and the views were just as spectacular and we also learned more about the fascinating history of the area.

The beautiful views continued throughout the trek as the weather cleared up and we headed closer to the finish line. Our final camp for the adventure was in the picturesque spot of Ghodmargi, where we relaxed in the lap of Mother Nature, soaking our feet in the ice-cold river passing by.

The final leg of the journey saw us return to base camp and then on to Srinagar, from where we left this beautiful location with loads of cherished memories.
