As a member of the group ‘TROY’ along with ‘BUMKEY’, the Rapper ‘Kanto’ has worked with ‘Lee Sun Hee’, ‘Kim Yeon Woo’, ‘Lee Young Hyun’,’SEO IN YOUNG’,’15&’, ‘Raina’ and has been building a successful career. Three years after the debut, he is finally starting his solo activity releasing his first EP [14216].
[14216] is Kanto’s first EP title, and he used the long and competitive 2 years that he put into working on this album, from 2014 to 2016 and used it as the title of his First EP.

BUMKEY(ボムキ)’と一緒にグループ‘トロイ’のメンバーとして、また、‘イ・ソンヒ、‘キム・ヨヌ’、‘イ・ヨンヒョン’、‘ソ・インヨン’、‘15＆ ’、‘レイナ’、‘ランブルフィッシュ’、‘バダ’など、実力のある先輩ミュージシャンたちから数多くのラブコールを受けてしっかりとキャリアを積んできたラッパー‘カント’が、デビュー3年ぶりにいよいよ彼の初のEP『14216』を発表し、本格的なソロ活動を開始する。
‘カント’の初のEPのアルバム名『14216』は、過去2014年から現在の2016年まで、自分が今回のEPを準備しながら作業に邁進した長くて厳しかった2年間という時間をアルバム名に表現したものである。

'범키'와 함께 그룹 '트로이'의 멤버로, 또한 '이선희', '김연우', '이영현', '서인영', '15&', '레이나', '럼블피쉬', '바다' 등 쟁쟁한 선배 뮤지션들의 수많은 러브콜을 받으며 탄탄한 커리어를 쌓아온 래퍼 '칸토'가 데뷔 3년 만에 드디어 자신의 첫 EP [14216]을 발표하며 본격적인 솔로 활동을 시작한다.

'칸토'의 첫 EP 타이들로 명명된 [14216]는 지난 2014년부터 지금의 2016년까지 자신이 이번 EP를 준비하며 작업에 매진한 길고 치열했던 2년이라는 시간을 앨범 제목으로 표현한 것이다.
