All About Newborns - The Sims 4

Newborns are a life stage included in The Sims 4 base game.
Newborns can not be created in Create-A-Sim. The ways you get a newborn is through trying for a baby and pregnancy, having a Science Baby, or by adopting a Newborn.
Newborns remain in their bassinets, but there is plenty of things Sims can do with them including cuddling them, rocking them, and cooing at them. Children and toddlers can also interact with newborns, but they are much more limited in what they can do. Sims will need to take care of their newborns otherwise they will be taken away. They care for them by feeding them, changing their diaper, and keeping them entertained.
