The Mysterious 1982 Sairam Mountain Disaster: A SOVIET TEAM THAT NEVER RETURNED

In September of 1982, around 50 mountaineers from a Kazakh sports club set up a base camp in the Sairam Su gorge located in South Kazakhstan. During one of their training hikes, a group of five athletes from Karaganda did not return to the base camp when it was already dark, later three of them would be found frozen on the slopes but the fate of other two still remains unknown...
