Windows Mobile Device Center is a Microsoft program that replaces ActiveSync. It allows synchronization of content such as music, videos, contacts, calendar events, and files between Windows Mobile devices and Windows OS.

To configure it, right-click Start, then go to Computer Management Services & Applications Services. Find Windows Mobile-2003-based device connectivity, right-click it, and select Properties. In the Log On tab, choose Local System account and check Allow service to interact with desktop, then click OK.
