How to make a Matilda Bruce Cake

Here's my take on how to make the viral Matilda Bruce cake inspired by the Matilda film and made viral by Get Baked bakery.

Chocolate fudge cake recipe for a 5" version of this cake -
240g plain flour
80g cocoa powder
360g caster sugar
1.5 tsp bicarbonate of soda (baking soda)
1 tsp baking powder
Pinch of salt
4 eggs
160ml vegetable oil
200ml buttermilk

Chocolate ganache recipe -
900g dark chocolate
450g double cream ( I wasn't concentrating and went a bit over - it still turned out fine!)
Pinch of sea salt
