In this video, I’m sharing my progress on the WSoft Blog admin panel. The update covers user authentication, managing blog posts, authors, and categories, plus upcoming improvements to the system.

What’s in this update:

Added user authentication – users can now log in with their actual accounts.

Integrated the default Filament dashboard for administration.

Built a Users section – still in progress, with some issues being fixed.

Created the Blog section, where admins can:

Add posts with title, slug (URL), image, and content

Assign authors and categories

Set publish dates and tags for organization

Next steps include:

Adding profile management (password and name changes)

Fixing missing user icons

Developing an API for posts, authors, and categories

Technical Summary
The project is built on Laravel with Filament providing the admin dashboard. Authentication is integrated using Laravel’s default system. The Blog module supports CRUD for posts, authors, and categories, with metadata such as publish dates and tags. Upcoming work includes implementing user profile features, resolving UI issues (missing icons), and building a REST API to expose blog data for future integrations.
