After almost seventy years, salmon can once again swim up the river Nansa to reach their breeding grounds and complete their life cycle. This video shows the solutions we have applied so that this species emblematic in the region of Cantabria can overcome the barriers created by hydropower facilities, in order to recover the natural habitat of the salmon and other fish species in what was one of the best salmon rivers in northern Spain in the past.
