kudos for his work! Oscar winning director @Barry Jenkins (Moonlight) once said his active support for LGBTQ community has a ceiling on what he can do onscreen as empathy can only go so far (paraphrased). i'm telling you, Andra Fuller's performance blown through the roof! he let his character grew in all dimensions, all heart: angry & bullying then loving & caring, elusive then effusive, frustrated then considerate, deceitful then truthful. Such depth and range in a character - he was nominated by the Canadian Emmy. If this was a full movie, I'm sure he would have been recognized as one of the best actors. His career continues its ascension with subsequent films since (i.e. black jesus, true to the game, another man will etc). this video is dedicated to Andra Fuller and his unforgettable performance.

btw, did i mention that the man is devastatingly handsome? :)
