What is quiet quitting? Quiet quitting is defined as doing exactly what your job description is and not going above and beyond for a company. The problem is.. not going above and beyond for a company does more harm to YOU than the company. Companies don't deserve talent that they refuse to compensate and we shouldn't allow ourselves to reduce who we are because of an enterprise that doesn't recognize our talents or wants to compensate us for our skills.

Quiet quitting and the great resignation is a trend we are seeing a lot on Tiktok because people have just become tired of their jobs. The gag is that if you actually feel more empowered and can add more value to a job you would more likely than not enjoy working and with positioning yourself with high skills and good work ethic you could command top dollar for your skills or even venture off into your own business.
