In that year, I made a decision that changed my life — to pursue mountaineering and touch the heights of the Himalayas. I enrolled at the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (HMI), Darjeeling, where I learned to survive, adapt, and thrive amidst snowstorms, crevasses, and sheer ice walls.

From classroom training to real glacier practice at Rathong Glacier, every moment pushed my limits and shaped my spirit. This short video captures glimpses of my mountaineering course — from roping up and rappelling to climbing with crampons in the snow-clad silence of the Himalayas.

It wasn’t just a physical challenge, it was a test of willpower, mindset, and soul.
