It's been a hard year for me, to say the least.

First of all, I would like to apologize to everyone who is currently subscribed to me, and waiting for me to return. I know I said that I had some videos coming, but they never met my standards. From now on, I will no longer promise any upload times. Just be excited about the next cover I release.

This was one of the hardest videos for me to decide whether or not I wanted to upload. Mostly because I wanted this to be a summary of what I learned about being a musician, but couldn't come to peace with it. But after a long little while of contemplating, I decided that this was worth it to me, even if it was 4 months after the original date. Because never would I know, that this would be my final solo performance.

Now, then a little bit about this live arrangement. When I first heard this medley from Leeandlie, I was immediately convinced to arrange it again. Not because it was perfect, but that I thought it summarized the anime perfectly. I wanted to make it my own, and evolve it further. So, using what I learned from other anime pianists, I added some techniques not used before in any of my prior arrangements (three-hand-technique, more right-hand runs, etc). The ending of the medley is slightly different, as it is just me improvising the ending, as a final way of saying: "Thank you, for giving your time to watch me evolve."

With this, I think I will be satisfied. I will be back sooner than you think since COVID-19 has left me in my house for a while. I have some plans for arrangements to be made.
