In this video I share the *5 simple systems that actually organised my life* and helped me juggle school work healthcare related work content creation workouts family responsibilities and a social life without burning out.

I stopped trying to remember everything and instead built systems that quietly run my life in the background.

These systems are simple flexible and realistic. They are about reducing mental load and creating structure so you can focus on what actually matters.



WHY SYSTEMS MATTER

I used to feel like my life was constantly slipping through my fingers.

Between health goals family responsibilities content planning and daily logistics things started breaking.

Not because I was lazy

But because my life was being held together by memory and motivation.

So I stopped relying on willpower and built systems.

These three systems now run most of my life

Health goals and home

SYSTEM ONE HEALTH SYSTEM

My health system removes daily decision making so I can stay consistent even when life is busy.

For workouts I use a weekly tracker and plan my training blocks ahead of time. After experimenting with different splits I realised that two full body sessions a week works best for me. I plan progressive overload every two weeks and track everything inside Notion which I can access easily on my phone at the gym.

For food I use Samsung Health to track calories on a daily basis. As my protein goals increased I created a Google Sheet with ingredients that are easily available to me so I can mix and match meals quickly without thinking too much. I also created a simple Google Doc workflow to stay efficient which might be a habit I picked up from spending so much time in the lab.

Meal prep usually happens on Saturdays. Sundays are less structured for me so workouts and planning happen during my weekly reflection instead.

This system allows me to stay consistent without obsessing.

SYSTEM TWO GOALS SYSTEM

For goals I use the twelve week year framework combined with a monthly close out system.

Instead of setting vague yearly goals I focus on shorter cycles so I can course correct more often. At the end of each month I review what moved the needle what did not and what needs to change next month.

SYSTEM THREE HOME SYSTEM

This was the area I neglected for the longest time even though home is literally an extension of who I am.

We plan meals as a family and write out a food budget since we cook most of our meals. We also have a weekly family finance meeting where we review spending and check alignment with the budget.

Every two weeks we do a small home improvement purchase usually from Shopee or Ikea guided by a shared Pinterest board. Recently we revamped a cabinet and the difference in organisation and calm was immediate.

Chores are systemised as well.

Quarterly deep cleaning and decluttering

Monthly bed sheet washing

Weekly wiping of high touch surfaces

Clear toilet cleaning responsibilities

Regular household maintenance like toothbrush replacements

Once a month we also deposit money into a joint savings account for travel and shared experiences.


CONTENT PLANNING SYSTEM

At the start of each month I brain dump at least twenty content ideas. I keep a note widget on my phone so whenever I learn something or get inspired I add it immediately.

I then batch ideas across my niche script them and block out a few hours to film and edit. Since I also do vlog style content I intentionally leave buffer space.

Weekly I schedule scripts and posting dates. Editing usually happens during commute time or after work on my phone. I save videos to drafts and post them in the mornings. During my commute I also engage intentionally with other creators by commenting and interacting rather than mindless scrolling.

TIME MANAGEMENT WITH A CALENDAR

Time is limited. That is the truth.

So instead of trying to do everything I schedule non negotiables first. Strength training blocks meal prep and planning all go into my calendar first.

Life is not predictable so flexibility is built in. If I miss a workout I move it to another day. As long as the two quality training blocks are scheduled and visible I know they will get done within the week.

I also double dip time when possible. Commutes downtime at work and quiet moments are used intentionally. At the same time I protect rest blocks where I read sit quietly or do nothing so I do not burn out.
