Wonder Boy in Monster World Game Sample - Sega Master System

Original Air Date: December 12th, 2008

A lot of people I know in gaming circles know about various versions of Wonder Boy in Monster World such as the Sega Genesis/MD version and (most notably) the TurboGrafx-16 version, but lots of people still don't know about the Sega Master System version. It's a pretty good game considering it has no major touch-ups in which to speak (no enhancement chips, etc.). Had it taken full advantage of the hardware, it may have looked jaw-dropping, but it still looks great as-is.

Fans of all the various Westone games out there don't want to miss this one. I always thought of Shion to be one of Westone's best games. The game has very vibrant, detailed characters and environments, an excellent soundtrack, and more some of the best gameplay of Shion's sidescrollers (though this game has some differences in terms of fighting enemies that need to be learned over the other versions). The game has some minor and significant differences from other versions of the game. Enjoy.
