CAT 2025 is a national-level computer-based MBA entrance exam conducted by the IIMs for admission to IIMs and many top non-IIM B-schools in India. It is expected to be held in late November 2026 in three slots of 2 hours each.

Basic exam details

Conducting body: Indian Institute of Management (one IIM is designated as convener; pattern remains common for all).
Mode: Computer-Based Test (CBT), conducted once a year in multiple test cities across India.

Duration: 120 minutes total, with 40 minutes per section and no switching between sections.
